Tilbury Brass Academy

The Tilbury Brass Academy is a weekend music school based in Tilbury, Essex. 

The Brass Academy focuses on the developement and teaching of Brass Band instruments and Music.

Students at the Brass Academy receive expert one-to-one tuition on their chosen instrument given by leading tutors as well as playing in the Tilbury Brass Academy Band

All instruction and ensembles take place over the weekend meaning interferance with school and work is kept to a minimum.

The Tilbury Academy Band also participate in concerts and have won awards at various contests including the Isle of Wight Brass Band Festival where they won the top 4 awards in 2007.

With players currently as young as seven and some as old as 57 there is no age limit for learning, however we do suggest that learners have basic reading skills and are old enough to attend school before they start.
